Brothers United (BU) is a year-round, cross-generational effort designed for men ages 18 and up to engage in collaborative sessions centered on the desire and need for men to play proactive and positive role(s) within their homes, communities and workplaces. Led by QPLF leadership, BU is a monthly meet-up and communal commitment that provides a wealth of opportunities to participate in free workshops, expand professional and personal network, mentor and indulge in an annual event centered on “fella-ship”. Monthly meetings include celebrity, tastemaker and changemaker guest speakers that focus on specific topics of strength.
Most importantly, BU is a safe space for men to learn about QPLF’s Four Pillars of Family Strength:
- Holistic Wellness
- Financial Literacy
- Social Responsibility
- Workforce Development & Entrepreneurship
QPLF’s Four Pillars of Family Strength serves as the foundation’s approach to shaping and supporting men in acknowledging their individual and collective part in building stronger families, stronger communities, a stronger City, for greater good.
